O40WAS Product Review: Cuisnart Curve Handle Peeler

So, I realize that vegetable peelers are far from being a new product and for the most part and they likely all do the trick fairly well! But I had to take a minute to write (and perhaps remind you guys) about how handy these things really are!!!

Around my way, we use them primarily for peeling English Cucumbers. What can I say, our little one absolutely LOVES them! And he loves them all the more when he’s able to dip them in “sauce” (better known to most of us as ranch dressing.)

However, this afternoon, I decided to take the Cuisinart Curve Handle Peeler to task by using it a bit differently than my norm.This go round I used it to undress a Gala Apple (for today’s afterschool snack: mini apple and peanut butter sandwiches) and it worked like a charm!

This utensil is super-quick. The handle’s ergonomic design provides a solid grip with no slippage in your hand. The metal blades cut thru the tougher skin effortlessly. And wouldn’t you know, my sandwiches were a big hit for our resident 2-year old who can be a bit of a finicky eater!

Bottom line…if you don’t have a fruit/vegetable in your kitchen’s arsenal, I suggest you add this one IMMEDIATELY!
